OETSG Bike Donation to TGH
OETSG presented a cheque for $6000 to the Transplant Unit Treadmill Room at Toronto General Hospital. The money was used to buy a bike for physiotherapy and an Oxometre to monitor pre/post transplant recipients while they do their 6 minute walk.
The cheque was presented to Denise by Garry MacNammee and Alistair Stark, members of the Quinte Chapter.
Some pictures of the new bike are available on our photo page, there is even one of Garry using it during his rehab after his transplant. So be sure to check them out.
